Karan Johar along with his twins and mother Hiroo Johar tested negative for covid-19

Karan Johar and his family are unharmed in the midst of the Covid-19 scare that has gripped his close friends in Bollywood. The filmmaker was at home and had already undergone tests after Kareena Kapoor Khan, Amrita Arora, Maheep Kapoor, and Seema Khan tested positive. Karan's test results have now been received, and he tested negative. 

Karan took to social media to reveal that he and his family had tested negative. Karan wrote on his Instagram Story, "My family and I and everyone at home have done their RT PCR tests and with the grace of god we are all NEGATIVE! Infact I tested twice just to be safe and am NEGATIVE." 

Karan Johar also thanked Mumbai's civic body, BMC, for their help and efforts. He wrote, "I truly appreciate the grandest efforts of the BMC to ensure the safety of our city.. Salute to them."

Karan also clarified that he was not at a party, but rather a small gathering of eight people. 

After sanitizing Kareena's house, the BMC sanitized Karan's house on Tuesday. The actress is currently quarantined at home and adhering to the necessary protocols. Her representative also told Filmfare, "Throughout the lockdown, Kareena has been extremely responsible. She has been cautious every time she has left the house. Unfortunately, she and Amrita Arora contracted Covid this time at an intimate dinner where a few friends had gathered to catch up."
