It is official. Kanguva is coming in theatres on October 10, 2024. The makers have chosen a relatively clean date with only Jigra and Deva for competition. There was a lot of debate on when would Kanguva release. It is one of the event films of the year without a doubt. With Devara coming on September 27, 2024 Kanguva follows another hyped pan-Indian movie. 

Suriya Sivakumar, Bobby Deol and Disha Patani play the main leads in the film. In the movie, a group of researchers are discovering a drug, and end up going back in time. The looks of Suriya and Bobby Deol are very intriguing. It is directed by Siva who has given many hits with the Tamil star. Bobby Deol will be making his Tamil debut with the movie. 

Vasan Bala’s Jigra is an action thriller with Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina as leads. They are playing siblings. Dharma Movies is the producer. Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde’s Deva is also coming on that day. It is directed by Rosshan Andrrews. 

Suriya plays an ancient warrior in Kanguva. The film took a lot of time in production. It was supposed to come in the first half of the year. It seems the delay in Indian 2 pushed Kanguva further. There were talks of a Sankranthi 2025 release but that is not happening. 

In fact, Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan’s Vettaiyaan was also supposed to come on this date. They will now look at a different date in all probability.
