Kangana Ranaut has apparently sold her Pali Hill bungalow in Bandra, Mumbai. According to a report by Zapkey, the actress sold this controversial property for Rs 32 crore recently. Kangana had supposedly bought the property for Rs 20.7 crore back in September 2017. Additionally, she had taken a Rs 27 crore loan from ICICI Bank against the property in December 2022. The bungalow served as the office for her production house, Manikarnika Films.

Just last month, a YouTube channel named Code Estate posted a video disclosing that an office of a production house is on the market. While the production house's name and the owner's identity were kept undisclosed, the images and footage in the video strongly suggested it was Kangana's office. Many users on social media also speculated in the comments section that it indeed belonged to Kangana.

The video's description unveiled that the bungalow includes the land it stands on. It specified the plot size as 285 square meters, with a construction area of 3042 sq ft. Additionally, the house features an extra parking space of 500 sq ft. With two floors, the property is listed at Rs 40 Crores.

This property faced scrutiny by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) back in 2020. In September 2020, the BMC partially demolished Kangana's office in Bandra, alleging unauthorized construction. The demolition was halted halfway due to a stay order from the Bombay High Court on September 9. Kangana initiated legal action against the BMC and initially sought Rs 2 crores in compensation but later withdrew her demands in May 2023.

Amidst all this, Kangana Ranaut is eagerly anticipating the release of her movie, Emergency. Originally scheduled for September 6, the film has been postponed as it awaits certification from the censor board. Emergency has been met with boycotts and calls for bans. Various Sikh groups have criticized the film for portraying the community negatively. The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) and the Akal Takht have demanded an immediate ban on the movie, alleging that it tarnishes the image of Sikhs by promoting a negative narrative about them.
