Irrfan Khan’s son Babil shares a glimpse of his father's awards; Hopes to win awards of his own!

The impact of Irrfan Khan’s demise wasn’t just limited to his family or friends. The news of his death, shocked the entire nation and left his fans deeply shaken. While his family and fans cope with the loss of legendary actor, his son Babil has kept the actor alive with his social media posts and in a recent post, her shared a glimpse of Irrfan’s award shelf.

Taking to his Instagram handle, and shared a boomerang video of Irrfan's many Filmfare trophies and shared that he aspires to win awards of his own like his celebrated father.

Babil wrote, "Makin space for mine hopefully?"

In a career span of 32-years, Irrfan Khan made a quintessential debut in Bollywood with a feature film - Salaam Bombay! It was an unusual and one of a kind attempt that decided his fate for years to come and laid the foundation of an actor who would lead to being one of the critically acclaimed actors of all time.

Irrfan won awards for the films like - the best performance in a negative role for (Haasil), best supporting actor (Life in a... Metro), best actor critics for (Paan Singh Tomar) and best actor for (Hindi Medium).

Irrfan Khan passed away on April 29, 2020, after a two-year-long battle with cancer. He even shot for his last film ‘Angrezi Medium’ which released just before the lockdown was imposed in the country.
