Iqbal Khan, the protagonist of Zee TV's Sanjog Se Bani Sangini was recently seen celebrating Diwali with a Mumbai based NGO, Save The Children India in one of Zee TV's little step to bring a smile on the children's faces.
Iqbal was seen enjoying every moment in the NGO, and his affection for kids was visibly seen. The actor in a conversation with TellyBuzz revealed that he also individually supports an NGO and does what he can afford to, at a smaller level.
Elaborating on this, he tells us, "My interaction with the kids of a certain NGO in Madh Island happened when we were shooting there for Choona Hai Aasmaan. We were shooting for a scene when I saw these kids, and had a word with them. I got to know of this NGO at Madh, which I lovingly call Madh ki Aunty. It is basically a house where trucks are rented out, and the money they get is used to take care of these children. When I got in touch with the NGO 2 years back, there were only 67 children there. Today, they have more than 150 children. I help them in whatever way I can, and I love them lots".
Well, this is the caring side of Iqbal Khan for you!!
