&TV's show based on the concept of sibling rivalry, Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai turned out to be a game changer for the channel. The show picked up right from the second day and kept the audience engrossed ever since. Meri Awaaz marked Amrita Rao's television debut.
The show also boasted of big names like Deepti Naval, Pallavi Joshi, Zarina Wahab and Eijaz Khan among others. And a show with such grandeur was bound to do well, especially when the producer of the show gave it her all.
For Nivedita Basu, Meri Awaaz has been her baby. And this can be felt by anyone who would mention Meri Awaaz to Nivedita. The adoration with which Nivedita speaks about her show is just proof of how important a part of Nivedita, the show is.
Says Nivedita, "Meri Awaaz was always a finite series. And the start cast of the show was also such that I could not extend the duration of the show. The best part about Meri Awaaz is that I did not receive any negative feedback from anyone. So I am not sad that it is going off-air. "
The producer went on to thank &TV for giving her this venture, "&TV has been very supportive throughout. I never deviated from my core concept - that of music. That is why the channel was happy and had faith in my work. I have always wanted to quality work."
Meri Awaaz will bid adieu to its audience on the 15th of July. And it will be a happy ending for the show with both the sisters Kalyani and Ketki patching up.

It was a good show!!! But even then it is ending at less than 35 episodes of 130 episodes that it was originally planned for!!!!

Ha completely false! You ruined a beautiful show... All the characters have been butchered... And the rivalry between the sisters was not shown properly... Rather than making it a professional rivalry, it was turned into a ghareluu rivalry... So lame and always full of negativity... Kalyani always crying ketki always drunk lol... But anyways it was a great show in the starting which has got me hooked... Looking forward to how it ends!

One of the best shows I have ever seen. Very realistic and no over dramatic seems like they are rushing a bit for climax Amrita Rao is just awesome as Kalyani

When it started , I loved it .It was real, well directed, well acted and such feel good factors were there. Now after all these months, all seems like staged, manipulated . I mean , where is the positivity , Why such repetitive tracks, why Protima hates Kalyani so much , Why That aunty and her family hates Kalyani is not well established , On top of that Reshmi Ghosh's acting is a headache . Kalyani and Ketki are supposed to fight .But most of the times, they are not well based , why someone else have to create "sazish" for it . The character of Karan , seems like made just to be opposite Kalyani .His character is not looking natural .Whereas Vikrant seems to fit in the story on that point of time. Devika's character has not been developed either, It seems, the two sisters will fight, solve their issues , again they will fight . All looks fake and boring to me ..I am highly disappointed with the show now ..I was expecting a much better show, with such great actors , they could have done so much better.

I watched this show from the start, and have not had time to watch the last two months. But from what I did see I have nothing but praise it was Amazing! So beautiful. Especially the family bond in the show. Their closeness, their tragedies their struggles and triumphs all so beautifully showcased! I will surly try to catch up to it! But still wish Nivedita Basu the best with any new venture! Your team did well. The star cast was brilliant!!
