Has Sobhita Dhulipala, Naga Chaitanya's engagement not found favour with the Daggubati family?

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got engaged on August 8, 2024 at the residence of Telugu superstar Nagarjuna. The actress’ parents were present for the engagement along with Nagarjuna’s first wife, Lakshmi Daggubati who is the mother of Naga Chaitanya. She had come with her second husband, Sarath Vijayaraghavan with whom she has a son. Now, a Redditor has highlighted how no one from the Daggubati family is following Sobhita Dhulipala on social media. On the other hand, everyone is on good terms with Naga Chaitanya’s ex-wife actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. One of the obvious reasons is that she has had a long career and worked with many members of the Daggubati family. 

While it does not matter much, netizens are surprised given that Venkatesh Daggubati is quite active on social media. In fact, what has surprised people is that Rana Daggubati is not following Sobhita Dhulipala. They are first cousins are quite close to one another. A netizen commented that maybe they remembered how the marriage of Nagarjuna and Lakshmi Daggubati ended. The superstar was married to her for a few years before he fell for Amala Mukherjee on the sets of a film. Nagarjuna separated from Lakshmi Daggubati and remarried. The netizen wrote, “They might be disheartened by Nag Chaitanya's decision and might have triggered an emotion on how his father (Nagarjuna) left their sister in the exact pattern.” Another person wrote, “Yes, the entire Daggubati family who attended Sam and Chai's engagement and posted on SM, completely skipped this engagement and didn't even congratulate on Insta. Considering chai and rana are first cousins, that is something!!!!” 

Sobhita Dhulipala and Nagarjuna had been dating for over a year as per rumours. Though the two did not confirm anything to social media, leaked pics and social media suggested otherwise. They were even spotted in Europe some time back at a wine-tasting event. Other reports said that it was Adivi Sesh who got Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala introduced to one another. He is the star of films like Goodachari and Major. As per astrological prediction, the two might marry in 2025.
