The Perfectionist of B-Town, Aamir Khan, born on
14th March, 1965, turns 48 this year, thus starting a new chapter in
his life.
The
actor has starred in less than 100 films yet he is cherished for each
and every role he has portrayed, which
only proves his versatility in
the field of acting. To his credit, he has three National Awards and
four Filmfare Awards, including the the Best Director award. He was also
honored with a Padma Shri and a Padma Bhushan for his remarkable
contribution to Indian Cinema.The actor started his career innings as a child actor in Yaadon Ki Baarat (1973). However, he made his debut as a lead actor with Holi
(1984), nearly after 11 years after his debut as a child artist.
However, the film did not do too well at the Box Office. It is said that
success does not make one wait for long and he was lucky enough
to taste commercial success with Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988). His other hits include, Dil, Andaz Apna Apna, Rangeela, Raja Hindustani, Ishq, Ghulam, Lagaan(2001), Dil Chahta Hai, Mangal Pandey: The Rising, Rang De Basanti, Fanaa, Taare Zameen Par, Ghajini, 3 Idiots and the 2012 thriller, Talaash.
Other than acting, The Perfectionist is also a successful director with the endearing film Taare Zameen Par and
owns his own production company named Aamir Khan Productions. He was
also seen on television with social issue based talk show, Satyamev Jayte.
Khan
can also be seen supporting several NGOS and social charity organizations. He was appointed as the National Brand Ambassador of
UNICEF for promoting child nutrition as well as being appointed as the
Brand Ambassador of Incredible India, where he can be seen promoting in
various media masses for the same.
Khan is married to Kiran Rao and has a child named Azad. He has two other children from his previous marriage to Reena Dutt named Junaid and Ira.

Khan has been entertaining us with his amazing films till date and we
