Guneet Monga joins as producer for Manoj Bajpayee's 'The Fable', set for MAMI 2024 premiere

Academy Award-winning producer Guneet Monga Kapoor has officially come on board as an executive producer for The Fable, a film directed by Raam Reddy. Known for her work with Sikhya Entertainment, Guneet, alongside Achin Jain, will now support the highly anticipated movie, which is set to make its Indian premiere at the 2024 Mumbai Academy of the Moving Image (MAMI) Film Festival.

The Fable initially made waves earlier this year at the prestigious Berlin International Film Festival, where it received glowing reviews from critics. It was described by Variety as "stunning" and "cinematic sorcery," making it one of the must-watch films of 2024. The movie offers a captivating exploration of self-identity, childhood, and the idea of home, beautifully wrapped in a story set in the serene landscapes of the Indian Himalayas.

The film stars the talented Manoj Bajpayee in the lead role as Dev, a man living with his family on a sprawling Orchard Estate in the Himalayas. The plot revolves around their tranquil life, filled with simple joys, until they encounter a strange and mysterious threat a burnt apple tree, followed by a series of other unsettling events. As tensions rise within the family and suspicion mounts, a devastating fire forces Dev to confront difficult truths about himself and his loved ones.

The movie also boasts a stellar cast including Priyanka Bose, Deepak Dobriyal, and Tillotama Shome, who have delivered standout performances. The ensemble, combined with the film's gripping storyline, has made The Fable one of the most talked-about films on the festival circuit.
