Bollywood is surely a tough place to be in. The stars are constantly under the speculative radars of gossip mongers and it leads to stepping in their private lives. The grapevines stay abuzz with false rumors many a times and create scenarios which becomes embarrassing for our stars.

Recently. the link up rumors of Aamir Khan and Fatima Sana Shaikh started doing the rounds. After she starred in Dangal, she went on to bag a role in Aamir Khan's Thugs of Hindostan. All this had the rumors of her closeness with Aamir going. The rumors of Fatima getting a big Yash Raj project all because of her closeness with Mr. Perfectionist was also a Page 3 news.

Now the actress has decided to clear the air and in an interview to a leading entertainment portal, Fatima said,"It's very weird. I used to get disturbed and I felt like I should explain myself. If someone accuses you of something, the first instinct is to come out and tell, 'Listen, why do you think it is like this?' If you are an aggressive person, you will attack. If you are a submissive person, even then you will talk about it."

She also talked about why she kept mum for such a long time. She said, "Logo ka kaam hai bolna woh bolenge. No point getting affected by it. People, who write these things, are the people who will meet me nicely. I know it's their job but I hope they sleep well"
