Esha Deol reacts to Ameesha Patel's comments that star kids like Kareena Kapoor Khan and she snatched roles

Ameesha Patel has made a great comeback with Gadar 2. The movie made over Rs 600 crores and was a bumper hit. Ameesha Patel during the promotions of Gadar 2 in 2023 had claimed that star kids like Esha Deol and Kareena Kapoor Khan would “snatch” roles from her. Esha Deol who did an in-depth interview with a leading news channel said that she is shocked to know that the actress felt this way. 

When the interviewer told her about Ameesha Patel’s claims she said that she is in disbelief. She said she feels otherwise on the matter. Esha Deol said everyone had quite a bit of work in their kitty and were busy. She also said that she was friends with her contemporaries, and no one actually snatched roles from the other. She said all were busy and happy in their own zone. Esha Deol said actors, both male and female were friendly with warmth in them. Esha Deol said that period was really nice. She said she does not remember any one sitting without work. 

It seems Ameesha Patel said she was the typical outsider who was considered as a snotty South Bombay girl. She said the fact that she had degrees from top universities also made her different. Ameesha Patel said she was one who did read books on sets, instead of gossip. It seems her habit of reading earned her the title of a ‘snob’. 

Ameesha Patel might be seen in a new version of Humraaz. It seems the producers and directors are very keen to make a new movie on the same. She will be a part of Gadar 3 too. 

Esha Deol who announced that she is separating from her husband Bharat Takhtani is yet to make an official comeback. Her short film as a producer, Ek Duaa won a National Film Award at the 69th National Film Award.
