Malaika Arora on co-parenting Arhaan with ex Arbaaz Khan: "It was a bit tricky and....."

"We both knew that no matter what happened between us as adults, it should never affect our child," Malaika explained. "We have found a very congenial way of co-parenting."

Malaika emphasized the importance of ensuring Arhaan understands and appreciates his privileges while learning to be self-sufficient. She shared, "I want Arhaan to respect others and be able to do things on his own. We've always told him that he needs to make it on his own, even though we're always there for him."

Arhaan, born in 2002, is the only child of Malaika and Arbaaz, who were married for 19 years before separating in 2016 and finalizing their divorce in 2017. Arbaaz has since remarried makeup artist Sshura Khan, while Malaika has been in a relationship with actor Arjun Kapoor for several years. Recently, there have been rumors of a breakup between Malaika and Arjun, keeping her in the headlines.

This year, Arhaan made his debut in the entertainment industry with his vodcast, "Dumb Biryani," where he explores various topics, including a candid episode with his mother. In their conversation, they touched on subjects like sex and marriage, showcasing a close and open mother-son relationship.
