Delnaaz Irani on marriage plans with longtime boyfriend Percy

Actor Delnaaz Irani has certainly gone through a lot in her life where we all remember her being vocal about her failed marriage with actor Rajev Paul.

Nevertheless, the lady then started dating DJ Percy Kakaria a few years later and the two have been going strong ever since. Lately they have been in news all the more where Irani has been giving interviews and bagging new roles in shows.

And now, in another interview with Times of India, she was asked about her marriage plans with Kakaria. To this, she said, “Percy is my support system, my strength. 2020 was a difficult time for all of us, but he made it so easy for me. We bonded on another level during the lockdown. We did so many things together. He did jhaadu and I did pochcha. I used to do subahke bartan and Percy did raat ke bartan. It reminded me of my time in the Bigg Boss house (laughs). But to be honest, he took care of me like his child.” As the conversation moves on to when she would be marrying Percy, Delnaaz smiles and says, “I am really lucky to have a man like him. We’ve been living together for almost six years now, and are like any married couple. Shaadi toh kabhi bhiho sakti hai. Initially, Percy did try to convince me to get married, but I was scared. I am a bit superstitious and feel that if I get too happy, things might get ruined. That thought is stopping me, and poor Percy has accepted this. It’s only about signing a few papers now, and I will do it as and when I am ready, most probably in 2023.”

This will incidentally be Irani's 50th birthday if they get married in 2023.
