Dalljiet Kaur reveals how her marriage with Nikhil Patel left her homeless in Mumbai

Dalljiet Kaur has now revealed that she is without a home in Mumbai. The actress spoke about how she sold off her house before she moved to Kenya. In 2023, Dalljiet Kaur got married to Nikhil Patel. An Indian with a British nationality, he is working in Kenya in the finance and investments sector. It seems when Nikhil Patel married her, his official divorce had not come through. Within months, she returned to India. In days, it became evident that something had done wrong in her marriage. It seems Nikhil Patel was cheating on her just months after their marriage. 

Dalljiet Kaur has said that she misses her old home. After her separation from Shalin Bhanot, she moved into a new place. She had built that home from scratch. She says Jaydon and she are literally living out of their suitcase now. Dalljiet Kaur said her family has her back so she is quite secure that way. Mother and son are now travelling all over India and she has made vlogs on the same. The series is about how to unpack trauma and move ahead once again. Dalljiet Kaur said Shalin Bhanot, the father of Jaydon is too busy to bother about them. 

After she came back to India, Nikhil Patel claimed he was not legally married to her at all. It seems the marriage was not registered in Mumbai or Kenya. He said it makes it invalid and not legally binding. She has filed a case on him for emotional cruelty and cheating. He got summons from Mumbai Police but is yet to respond to the same. Patel said that he tried his best but Dalljiet Kaur could not adjust to a non-celeb life in Nairobi, Kenya. He said he pumped in his money to build her a studio. 

Dalljiet Kaur’s manager has sided with her saying that Nikhil Patel was always cold towards Jaydon. He never accepted him. He also accused her of bullying his elder daughter when she was in Kenya. It seems he came to India with his girlfriend Safeena Nazar who is a psychotherapist based out of South Africa. The two were spotted hugging at the lobby of Taj Land’s End.
