In a shocking turn of events, popular Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa has been detained by cops in Bengaluru for his alleged role in the murder of Renukaswamy. His wife, actress Pavithra Gowda and 10 others are also in police custody. It seems the cops picked up Darshan Thoogudeepa from his farmhouse in Mysore and brought him to Bengaluru. Post his custody, the police have been deployed outside his home in Rajarajeshwari Nagar. It seems Renuka Swamy’s dead body was found in the Sumanahalli Bridge of Bengaluru. He was working in Chitradurga in a branch of Apollo Pharmacy. It seems he sent derogatory messages to the wife of Darshan.

As per the cops, three people confessed that they murdered him. They said it was done on the instructions of actor Darshan Thoogudeepa. The body was found on June 9, and the cops filed a case. Renuka Swamy’s mother has said that he is allegedly behind the killing of her son. The cops want to ascertain if the actor was indirectly involved or part of the conspiracy.

Darshan Thoogudeepa is a top actor, producer and distributor in Sandalwood. His last movie in theatres was Kaatera. It is said that Renuka Swamy sent derogatory messages to Pavithra Gowda, who is rumoured lady love of Darshan. The actor and his friend are now detained in the Annapoorneshwari Nagar Police Station. It seems the murder took place at a car shed in Pattanagere and his body was dumped in a drain. The alleged killers said they murdered him for financial issues.
