Dadlani slams Modi over hanging of rapists claim

Singer-composer Vishal Dadlani has accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of lying for claiming that rapists are "hanged within three days, seven days, 11 days and a month" under his administration.

The Prime Minister made the comment at a youth conclave in Surat on Wednesday.

Dadlani, who often criticizes the Modi-led BJP, called it a "lie".

"Lie. Name one rapist who has been hung in your term, Sir. Nirbhaya's rapists, Asifa's rapists, even Unnao child-rape-accused BJP MLA Sengar are still alive and well," he tweeted on Thursday.

"Narendra Modiji, we know elections are near but don't turn the pain of Indian women and girls into propaganda," he added.

@guenhwyvar If you're even half as smart as you think you are, then go search up on google about how rape cases increased and the criminals are walking free. One such case is the one that happened in Kathua. There are many more. India doesn't need terrorist attacks. You guys have your own home grown terrorists in the form of gang rapists and pedophiles. Not to forget the biggest terrorist is your far right fascist prime minister. Receiving such ignorant responses from illiterate Indians is just so funny.

Not a fan of Vishal but he's absolutely right about this fascist Modi. Ever since he became the prime minister, rape cases sky rocketed and so did other crimes.
