Goodachari 2: Emraan Hashmi suffers deep cut in the neck while filming an action sequence

Emraan Hashmi who is quite active in the Telugu industry suffered an injury on the sets of Goodachari 2. It was a deep cut in the right side of his neck. The wound happened when he was filming an action sequence. Goodachari 2 is going to release in 2025 along with Dacoit, one more movie of Adivi Sesh. It seems Emraan Hashmi was shooting in Hyderabad when he sustained this injury. It was a jumping sequence that caused this to the actor. 

The superstar made his debut in Telugu movies with they call him OG. The Pawan Kalyan film was directed by Sujeeth of Saaho fame. It was bankrolled by the DVV Entertainment. Goodachari 2 is the sequel of the blockbuster espionage thriller starring Adivi Sesh and Sobhita Dhulipala. In April 2024, they shared a new poster welcoming Emraan Hashmi on board. It read, “The biggest spy franchise gets a blockbuster addition. Boarding mission #G2. Shoot in progress.” There is a lot of buzz in the market for G2. It is one of the upcoming spy movies that has organic buzz. OTT platforms are willing to pay as much as Rs 150 crores for the same. Adivi Sesh said they are putting in max effort for a world class product.

Emraan Hashmi, Arjun Rampal and Saif Ali Khan have all debuted in the Telugu industry as villains. Saif is getting good reviews for his work in Devara. Emraan was also decent in They Call Him OG. Sadly, Bhagavanth Kesari did not leave much impact at the box office.
