Saint Valentine and the little baby in diapers, aka Cupid, have struck their love arrows and are long gone into hibernation in wait for the next year. But the romantic in us, wishes to see that magic relived and what better way to express passion than through the universal form of a lip lock?

No longer is kissing on screen a big deal for today's superstars and budding talents. The innocent pecks, cozy kisses and smacking smooches seem to express the best intimate moments in our character's lives. So in the aftermath of Valentine's day, in no particular order, BollyCurry takes a look at some of the most intimate and sizzling kisses in Bollywood for 2012. Pucker up!

Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta - Raaz 3

We start off with the serial kissing king himself, Emraan Hashmi. With all his experience of onscreen smooching, Emraan can hardly get it wrong, especially after the standard set by both in Jannat 2. After being attacked by cockroaches, the two console each other in a bit of passion and what leads next can go unsaid.

Ali Zafar and Aditi Rao Hydari - London, Paris, New York

New to the industry, they play ill-fated lovers whose struggle to find love spans a couple of years and three cities before everything eventually falls into place. However, before their happily-ever-after, the two share several intimate kisses during their nightly rendezvous in hotels.

Saif Ali Khan and Diana Penty - Cocktail

Debutante Diana locks lips with Saif when the characters become carefree out on a holiday. A twist just before the intermission and with whispers of waves as an accompaniment, the kiss was sweet, soft and if not a little apprehensive. But we can't deny that it did send the tingles down our backs!

Ranbir Kapoor and Ileana D'Cruz - Barfi!

A self confessed Casanova, Ranbir has kissed plenty of his co-stars and Barfi! is no exception with him smooching the Southern newbie, Ileana. The two engage in a fluttering romance and share a gentle first kiss, and let's not forget Barfi's extremely cute reaction after the deed.

Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif - Jab Tak Hai Jaan

He's been in the industry for 25 years and till this date, no one could get SRK to lock lips with his co-stars. However, JTHJ seems to have broken the record with him puckering up with Kat not once, not twice but three times!

Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra - Ishaqzaade

Other debutantes who shed all inhibitions and took over to getting intimate on screen are Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra. A torrid lovemaking scene inside a train compartment after a quick elopement, the scene can only be classified as steaming hot.

Alia Bhatt and Siddharth Malhotra - Student of the Year

A film completely dominated by newbies, SOTY saw the petite Alia and boy-next-door Siddharth fight feelings of denial and embrace in a sweet and tender first kiss just when term is about to end. What results next, we won't dwell on but the moment shared was surprising yet satisfying enough.

Sunny Leone and Arunoday Singh - Jism 2

The erotic movie saw the entrance of the Indo-Canadian Sunny Leone to Bollywood. Formally a po*n star, kissing was no new business for the actress as she happily cavorted with Arunoday Singh in some tension thick smooches.

Sunny Leone and Randeep Hooda - Jism 2

And Arunoday wasn't the only one to have a go at Sunny's lips. Randeep Hooda got frisky with the lass on more occasions worth to count that they even had songs dedicated to their passion. That's a lot of screen time!

Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam - Vicky Donor

After courting her with much enthusiasm in the movie, Ayushmann, who plays a secret sperm donor, has Yami falling for his charms and sealing their union with a kiss to the background of the beautiful "Pani Da Rang" track. And lo and behold, two new actors here too!

And that wraps up this heated issue of an article. It seems it's our new talent that is on par with our counterpart film industries, entering the circuit with a can do and much bolder attitude.
