Bigg Boss 18: Govinda's wife Sunita Ahuja on doing Salman Khan's show; says, 'Would you ask SRK's wife'

Every year, we heard that certain Bollywood celebs have been approached for Bigg Boss 18. The show is starting from October 5, 2024 on Colors. Salman Khan will make a comeback as a host. Sunita Ahuja, who is the wife of Govinda said that she was being offered the show for many years now. On a podcast, she said that makers had been coming to her since four years now. But she said people were stupid to assume that she would go and slog it out on Bigg Boss. She said that no one would dare to ask Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan to do something like Bigg Boss. 

Sunita Ahuja said, “I told them, ‘Are you mad? You think I clean toilets?’ You ask me this question, but tell me, would you ask Shah Rukh Khan’s wife the same thing? Do you think we’re struggling financially? I don’t even watch Bigg Boss.” The lady has been on The Kapil Sharma Show in the past. The episode made headlines as Krushna Abhishek refused to be a part of it. As we know, it was apparently a tiff between Sunita Ahuja and Kashmera Shah that ruined the bond of uncle and nephew.

This year, Govinda graced the wedding of Arti Singh and Deepak Chauhan. It was an emotional moment for everyone. Krushna Abhishek said he would later meet his maami, Sunita Ahuja and make amends with her. Sunita Ahuja said she would only take up the show if she got a chance to co-host with Salman Khan. 

Kashmera Shah and Krushna Abhishek host Bigg Buzz on JioCinema which is for eliminated contestants. Sunita Ahuja had earlier said how she did not like the jokes Krushna cracked on Govinda on his shows. She also said that their daughter Tina Ahuja was also approached for the show. 

Netizens found Sunita Ahuja’s attitude rather high-handed. A person commented, “I concur with her statement, but the manner in which she conveyed it revealed a hint of haughtiness. BB is generally a stage for those facing career stagnation or requiring financial support, a situation that doesn't apply to Govinda's wife.”
