Atif Aslam's Gurgaon Concert CANCELED

Another Pak artist faces the burn of the Uri attacks

Owing to the recent attacks in Uri, MNS had banned all Pakistani artists and given an ultimatum for them to leave the country. But its not just the MNS who are opposing them in the country.

The right wing Hindu party, Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Kranti Dal has opposed singer Atif Aslam's concert in Gurgoan. Atif's concert was scheduled for 15th October, 2016. The party has submitted a memorandum to the Gurgaon Deputy Commissioner, T L Satyaprakash demanding the cancellation.

The memorandum said, "If the event takes place, and any incident happens because of it, the district administration will be responsible".

The letter also said, "playing with the sentiments of the country by giving Pakistani artistes permission to perform here. Soldiers are losing their lives at the border because of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism."

For the people who have purchased tickets to the concert will be refunded their money stated the organizers.

India has always done this for such a long time, india has taken talent from pakistan and used it be it atif aslam, rahat fateh ali khan, fawad khan, ali zafar etc. All of a sudden of sudden these people have a problem, well im not suprised India has always been like this where fellow muslim country man have been treated as second class citizens. I live in UK and here we call this type of attitude as pure racism where a person is treated unfairely because of there race,religion, background or culture.

It is not abt Pakistan artists being banned from performing in India.just place yourself with the family of martyr's. It really hurts them to loose their beloved in such manner.Pakistan is constantly encouraging terrorism and their artist come here and earn pots of money..this is not done.our artists r not allowed to work there so why shud we ? Secondly I firmly believe that artists r above all this and they only do their work but then when it comes to criticise the wrong they keep mum.they shud atleast pay some respect to the land where they r earning so much...our soldiers r dying coz of their terrorists so we shud atleast show some respect by not entertaining these Pakistanis.There r so many artists from other countries who r welcome here to perform.

It's a real shame what India are doing. Where is humanity and logic here. These people are simply doing their job. How does this solve anything and there are so many attacks which are condemn by Indians be it the 26/11 attack or be it things like criminal activities- what next? Kick the Muslims out because of the Hindu Muslims attack.

It won't make any difference to Pakistan if the artistes don't work in India. They can still continue with the killings if they want.

Why can't india be bigger and better and show that we welcome everyone. We are better than everyone else. How does this kind of attitude help anyone. It's a real shame.
