Amitabh Bachchan reminisces his 1954 Scout days by sharing never-before-seen photos

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is basking in the success of his latest film Kalki 2898 AD. Big B has been lauded for his exceptional performance in the movie, which has proven to be a box office hit. Despite his busy schedule, Bachchan always finds time to share unseen photos from his archives with his fans. To commemorate Scout Day on August 1, 2024, the actor took a nostalgic trip back to his 1954 Scout days in Allahabad and shared a picture from that time.

Big B shared photos on Instagram and his Tumblr blog showcasing his Scout days back in 1954. The images feature a young Amitabh Bachchan in his Scout attire, appearing almost unrecognizable. In one picture, he stands solo, while in the second, he poses with his classmates and teacher for a group shot.

The caption read, "Those good ol’ days of Boy Scouts .. the special scarfs .. the badge .. the special salute .. Baden Powell its Founder .. and how many of those learnings still being practised". 

"... oh gosh those were the days at BHS, Allahabad .. and the scouting experiences with the troop and the visitor of the head of the Scouts from Australia and how he remembered the number of autographs he signed .. quite remarkable .. and these pictures of all rather grim looking scouts, even I find it difficult to recognise me .. though I still remember most of the others .. strange is it not how you remember those early days and have problems remembering the recent meets," Big B mentioned in his blog. 

On June 9, the Piku actor posted a picture on Instagram wearing winter clothes in the summer heat. In the photo, he is smiling and pointing at the camera. The caption reads, “In the summer heat of 45 degrees… wearing snow attire…!!! Work… work is worship (prayer emoji).”

On his X account (formerly Twitter), Big B shared a BTS photo with his son, Abhishek Bachchan, from their upcoming project. In Hindi, he captioned it, "Father and son collaborating in one space; soon, this incredible duo will showcase their work on stage."

On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan is set to star alongside Rajinikanth in the highly-anticipated film Vettaiyan. The movie is penned and directed by T.J. Gnanavel and produced by A. Subaskaran under the Lyca Productions banner.
