Akshay Kumar to Sajid Nadiadwala: Inke wajah se mera kitchen chalta hai; Recalls Childhood days

Akshay Kumar, the actor who is determined to deliver back to back hits at the box office is back with the fourth installment of the super hit comedy franchise Housefull. It’s been three years since the third part, Housefull 3 released and the film manages to tickle our funny bones even today. However, Housefull 4 revolves around a unique concept of reincarnation, despite being a comedy-drama, making it one of its kind. Directed by Farhad Samji, and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film stars an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, and Kriti Kharbanda.

The trailer of the film released today, already promising a laugh riot in the movie. While the female actress’ of the film feature as powerful warriors and will enchant you with their beauty, the three musketeers Akshay, Bobby and Riteish will make you laugh till your stomach hurts. Besides, Chunky Panday and Johnny Lever add cheery to the cake.

We have got you some insight right from the trailer launch event. It’s no secret that Akshay shares a special rapport with Sajid Nadiadwala. And, at the event today, Akki recalled his childhood days with the filmmaker and also stated how the duo has evolved and progressed together with time. 

"Hum saathmei paatshala jaaya karte the, 255 number bus pakadte the. Aur aaj hamari 11-15 movies hogayi hai saathmei”, Akshay said while taking a stroll down the memory lane.

He also jokingly added, “I can say ki inki wajah se mera kitchen chalta hai. Mere baccho ki padhai hoti hai…”, owing to the number of movies the actor-filmmaker have delivered together.

Akshay and Sajid’s affiliation has bestowed us with some memorable and hit movies like the Housefull series, Kambakkht Ishq, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, to name a few. And with the upcoming reincarnation comedy film, the hopes are already high amongst audience and fans.

Housefull 4 was supposed to be directed by Sajid Khan, who had also directed the first two installments but was replaced by Farhad Samji due to Me Too allegations. When asked whether Akshay would work with Sajid again, he stated that “If he is acquitted, then I will surely work with him.”

The film is scheduled to release on 25 October 2019.
