After delivering successful collaborations like Kesari and Good Newwz, Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar are reuniting for a compelling new project, a film based on the life of renowned barrister C. Sankaran Nair. Set against the backdrop of the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, the film will explore a significant legal battle in Indian history. Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the courtroom drama boasts a stellar cast, with R. Madhavan and Ananya Panday joining Akshay Kumar in key roles.
Dharma Productions recently unveiled the film’s release date, announcing that the untitled project will hit theaters on March 14, 2025. Sharing an official poster, Dharma wrote, "THE UNTITLED FILM on the shocking cover-up of a massacre that led India's top barrister, C. SANKARAN NAIR, to fight an unprecedented legal battle against the British Empire. Inspired by real events and adapted from the book The Case That Shook The Empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat."
