Aishwarya Rai Bachchan smartly defends her designers after being asked about questionable sartorial outings

Whether it was her recent Cannes outings or the walk in the red voluminous dress at Paris Fashion Week 2024, fans of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have been scathing towards her team of stylists and designers. She wore a red satin dress for the L’Oreal event at Paris Fashion Week, and people said it was her face card and aura that saved the day yet again. In a short interview to IANS, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan said being effortless is what she believes in. 

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan said being real and effortless is what comes first. Talking about critique on fashion choices, she said she sees her outfits as a work of art. The actress was quoted as saying, “I really look at it as art and I think it's (an) art to be enjoyed and it can evoke all kinds of, you know, responses. And that's what it should be... And it's really all about designers. Most of the people that I have worked with are friends, you know."

The Ponniyin Selvan actress said her clothes have her sense of individuality. At the same time, she said she believes in giving the designers the freedom to go all out with their imagination. This proves that she is quite supportive irrespective of the outcome. She further said, “And then there's sometimes where it's a complete flight of their creativity. And I obviously go with the flow.” The diva said comfort is the key for her. And it depends on her mood for the moment. 

At airports, we mostly see her in black pants, an oversized shirt and trench coat. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan said she finds the concept of airport fashion impractical and tedious. She said dressing up in designer wear for a flight is something she would never do. She said, “It's always been about the comfort and the practicality of the moment, the traffic, the kids, when the kid was small and at that point in time, people at the airport were going like it's a runway. I mean, that's something which I would never do."

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan have flown down for IIFA 2024. Fans are hoping if there will be a reunion of Bachchan Parivaar at the event. Some days back, she was seen with her Vanki, which is the traditional marriage ring.
