Vikrant Massey plays the role of a journalist from a vernacular medium. The actor has delivered a very good performance and the two ladies Ridhi Dogra and Raashii Khanna are also in great form. The movie is crisp and does not indulge in any melodrama. The Sabarmati Report is directed by Dheeraj Sarna who is a big name in the world of TV. 

The best part is that the movie is not inflammatory nor does it paint a particular community as villains. There is moderation in the dialogues, and the editing is crisp.
