I mean she did get ready at the very last moment cause obviously she didn't wanted Armaan to be alone. Before that last very moment she had been very fixated about wanting to be accaepted by the family, Kaveri basically.

My point isn't that Abhira is wrong. Of course she should not sign the prenup with those conditions. No girl in the world should......but then you have to let go of something...... choosing your Pyaar,your professional life and not seeking families consent isn't a bad thing if the family is so damn regressive especially when your Pyaar is ready to move with Actual , it's not even the whole family, she is liked by most of them except KP, Phupha and Pendulum Vidya, But it is Abhira who wants to the have KPs approval as well.

KP is not going to change in 2 days.

The choice Abhira made is what matters. She got the opportunity to elope and she took it.

Yes, she wants a family love. So does Armaan. But when push came to shove they both chose each other. Then Kaveri agreed and they both dropped their plan.

I do feel bad for Abhira and understand how suffocating it could get for her, cause I personally would have any day stayed 10 feet away from a family of like this. Yes. She has to navigate it. But Armaan is supposed to be there this time to support her more vocally than before and truly as her husband rather than his zimmedari.

Her not eloping is because she wanted to ensure her and Armaan do not lose out on family. Her making a choice to stay on for Armaans sake, for family's sake, for her to have a family should not become the bane of her existence. And technically she took the chance. She agreed to temple mein shaadi and was on her way there. But kaveri intervened and Armaan Abhira dropped eloping plan.

she knows their personality but everyday they still catch her off guard by doing something unexpected. She had placated V sweetly, informed her that she's busy but will try to get home early so kya matlab hai to keep calling and annoying Abhira? Its really ridiculous behavior.

V and Kaveri both know she is career oriented. Yet V is annoying her at work and Kaveri is drawing prenup despite having not done it for any other couple. Why would she draw up legal papers with rubbish clauses despite knowing how much Ab has fought for the right to study and work?! And how can she draw prenup papers without even discussing with Armaan .prenup is an agreement between the couple getting married, not the girl and her fiances grandmother.
