"The fame and success you get on social media is temporary"

Anita has been active on social media over the past few years, but doesn’t see herself as an influencer. She says, “The fame and success you get on social media is temporary. Today, if I enter a room, people will not know me because I have many followers, they will know me because I am an actor. Of course, social media can be lucrative for some people, but I feel it is not the be all and end all for an actor. Actors are ultimately remembered for the roles the essayed .”

Well, we agree with Anita Hassanandani who is active in films and television shows over two decades now. She is remembered for films like Krishna Cottage opposite to Sohail Khan, Koi Aap Sa opposite to Aftab Shivdasani . Anita's female lead stint as Anjali in Kkavyanjali opposite to Eijaz Khan is still remembered today and her portrayal of iconic Shagun Arora as Karan Patel's first wife in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein fetched her immense name and fame. Notedly, she has been credited as fashion trendsetter on social media platforms for this unique role as well.

Oh yeah...Shagun Arora was a fashion queen. Anita lived the role. Urvashi as Komolika and Anita as Shagun are perhaps the two most iconic TV fashion trendsetters. While Komolika is dependent on heavy and unconventional ornaments and alluring background music to go with, Shagun stands tall just the way she is...with her fashion sense and minimalistic modern approach...truly a fashion icon...smiley32smiley32

Also, Shagun Arora set the fashion trend in 2014-2017 when social media platforms were still blooming in India. Just imagine the craze for her fashion sense today with fully bloomed social media platforms.

An iconic actress. So many artists looked up to her for her subtle portrayal of Shagun in the initial days of YHM.

she should really do some lead roles in finite series. These days influencers have so many followers which is just a numbers game.

True that. Shagun Arora was quite a fashion trendsetter, specially those sarees she donned so effortlessly.
