Manoj Chandila, who has featured in several shows, including 'Desh Ki Beti... Nandini' and 'Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil', might soon join the cast of the popular TV show 'Ye Hai Mohabbatein'.
He was last seen in 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya' and in an episode of 'Aahat'. In his new project, he will play a doctor opposite Anita Hassanandani.
While Manoj chose to not revert to our text message, a source associated with the show reveals, "It's a four-month track and Manoj will play a positive character. Several actors were considered for the part, but Manoj has a long association with the production house and hence, he has been finalised for the role. Not to forget, he fits the bill perfectly."

"Eijaz is being approached for the doctor's role and both will be paired together, and help Raman Bhalla (portrayed by Karan Patel) and his wife Ishita (played by Divyanka Tripathi) to overcome the complications with their baby," the source said.
In the past, Anita and Eijaz have worked together in serial Kkavyanjali.
Actor Manoj Chandila has also been approached for the role, but nothing is locked as yet.
"Their contracts are not yet signed. The channel is more keen on Eijaz given his past chemistry with Anita on screen," added the source.
