Jaiswal set the tone in the very first over and if the intent was not clear then Rohit smashing his first two balls for sixes made it very clear. India were on the charge and the opening pair brought up the 50 in just 3 overs. Mehidy was brought on and he broke the partnership by going past Rohit's defence. But the runs continued to come at a rapid pace as Jaiswal and Gill kept finding the boundaries at will. India even registered the fastest 100 in Test cricket, getting there in 10.1 overs. Mahmud came back for his second spell and got one to stay low to Jaiswal. Pant walked in at 4 and already survived a caught-behind decision. India trail by just 95 runs.

Big smiles on the faces of Gill and Pant as they walk out from the dressing room for the final session of the day. We've still got 40 overs left but it's hard to see them getting those in. By any account, India should be well clear of Bangladesh by stumps if there's no dramatic collapse from here. They might even declare, who knows.
