Ashwin's expertise drives India past Chennai's opening-day hurdles
Driving school was in session on a tricky opening day of Test cricket in Chennai, where low-slung grey clouds added to the jeopardy of the soft and damp playing surface. Virat Kohli was caught out when he drove overzealously and away from the body too soon. Yashasvi Jaiswal earned his license by opting to do his driving in a narrow 'v', picking only the full-length deliveries or by making his own lengths by walking towards the ball.
