That is unfair, he was the original face of Bhool Bhulaiya, I am sure the craze and hype would have been more for the sequels with him being the lead.
This is actually good - even though Kartik did well in Bhool Bhulaiya 2, when I think of the franchise, it was Akshay who comes to mind. So, this cameo can really help boost the hype for the third movie.
Never thought the day would come where Akshay would depend on Kartik for a hit 
Remember how badly he spread PR against him for signing Hera Pheri
My my how the tables have turned, even Chandu Champion has done better business than most recent Akshay films
