Harmanpreet: We are gonna bat first, the reason is both the semis were played on this pitch, that's why. We really work hard, so today it is looking like a long batting lineup, it's good for us. They are a good side, we just think what we have to do, we have to play good cricket. Same team for us.

Chamari Athapaththu: If we had won the toss, we were looking to bowl first. We have to improve our fielding and hopefully our batters will bat well. Yeah. 80 percent okay. One change for us.

Pitch report: The pockets are quite big straight from both ends, there is a cloud cover and there’s lots of wind. We did see the wind playing its part in the semi-finals. We have had plenty of runs on this pitch. It still looks like a very good batting pitch. I’m hoping for a high-scoring game. Madushka Balasuriya is at the venue and is expecting a packed house. "Cloud cover around, some grey ones at that, but hopefully they are there for shade rather than anything more sinister," he says. "Crowd has got the umbrellas out in any case, because when the sun does peek out it's quite searing. Driving up to the stadium was pleasant, right up to the gates where there was actually some congestion - safe to say, good chance of a packed house today."
