Yes in industry its common in fact even in society, inter caste and inter community marriages are too accepeted sooner or later but inter religion marriages are still a problem. But yes it's at the end must be upto the people whose whole life is at stake and they must have the biggest say in it, regardless of the race they and their partner belong to.
