Secret behind India's world Cup march

Sometime before the start of the 2023 ODI World Cup, Rohit Sharma had enough of the old Indian way of playing white-ball cricket. In the dressing room, he addressed the seniors and “garden-mey-ghoomney” wale youngsters and told them that he is going on an all-out attack as an opener himself, preferring to inspire them through action.

The result was startling: the old-dawdle from the land that had ironically liberated batsmen from other countries through the IPL was gone, and a box-office hit followed that was soaked up by adoring fans all around the country, so much so that there wasn’t any criticism when they failed in the final.

Rohit’s India have gone with the same method in this T20 World Cup as well on mostly sluggish track

At this World Cup though, India remain undefeated and updated as far as the format is concerned. So far, Rohit Sharma and Co have the best strike rate and most sixes in the tournament so far.

England on the other hand, have redefined the limits of the format and white-ball cricket in general in recent times. At this World Cup though, they have appeared vulnerable more than one time.

So, who will prevail?

England have not beaten a big team in this WT20 but absolutely thrashed weak teams.

Indian team has beaten big teams in pak and aus from almost losing positions. Also Afg .

But Eng have the upper hand because of 2022 hammering. ANd how they have won. India have not.

It will again boil down to the Cheat code. smiley39
