On the other hand, England's win over Namibia has put them level on points with Scotland. Now, the equation is simple for Scotland, where a win will see them through. However, a defeat will bring the NRR into play, where England have the advantage. How will the nerves be right now for Richie Berrington and Co.? They seldom get the chance to play against Test-playing nations, and facing the mighty Australia in a must-win game of a global event, the pressure couldn't be any higher. This edition has seen several associate nations challenge the top sides. Could we be in for an upset? Toss and team news in a bit.

Australia have been the team to beat this edition and are already through to the Super 8 with three wins out of three. Except for the game against Oman, where they were under a bit of pressure in the first half of their batting effort, it has been smooth sailing for Mitchell Marsh and his men. With not much riding on this game, Australia will look at it as an opportunity to rest some players and give game time to Ashton Agar, Cameron Green, and Josh Inglis, who have not played in the group stage at all.

We are nearing the climax of Group B, with the last group game featuring Australia against Scotland at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St. Lucia. With Australia already through to the next round, Scotland and England are vying for the last remaining spot. England's thrashing of Oman has significantly boosted their NRR, jumping from -1.8 to +3.091, putting them ahead of Scotland. If England win their match against Namibia, Scotland will need a win against Australia to pip England on points. However, if Namibia cause an upset, Scotland will qualify regardless of their result against Australia. Mitchell Marsh and Co. are poised to advance as the top seed in Group B and have little at stake in this encounter. As a result, they will use this game to rest their players and give game time to the likes of Cameron Green, Ashton Agar, and Josh Inglis, who have not featured in the competition yet. Having missed out in the game against Namibia due to not pulling up well, Mitchell Starc might feature to regain rhythm for the Super 8s, possibly replacing any of Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, or Nathan Ellis. On the other hand, Scotland will look to put their best foot forward against the Aussies, who do not have much to gain from this clash. That said, Australia has strong bench strength, and taking them down will be anything but easy for the Scots. What has worked well for Scotland is the fact that they have not had to rely on a couple of individuals for run-scoring, with Brandon McMullen, Richie Berrington, George Munsey, and Michael Jones all making valuable contributions

If Australia decide to rest some key players ahead of the most important Super 8s, Scotland has a chance to win the match.

Cheers..

Yes, if they want to eliminate England from entering in to Super 8, they may prefer to lose this game!!

James: "I won't be the only Englishman experiencing a once-in-a-lifetime event tonight: I'm going to find out what it's like supporting Australia in a world cup. Come on Davey Warner! Come on Hazlewood! Never thought I'd say it but here goes: Aussie Aussie Aussie oi oi oi!! "

Hello and welcome to our coverage of the deciding match of Group B. England did what they needed to against Namibia, so the equation here is simple: Scotland win and they go through. Only issue is they are playing Australia. Can they conjure their most famous day? I'm Andrew McGlashan and along with Hemant Brar will bring you all the action. The weather looks good in St Lucia (a washout would also do for Scotland) so doesn't appear that will be a factor. Will England be cheering on Australia from their hotel? We'll be back with our full build-up shortly.

We await to see what changes Australia could make this evening. They have spoken about resting a few players ahead of the Super Eight which is a very tight schedule.

Arfaa: "Australia won't look to lose this game, but will definitely rest (especially with 3 games in 4 days coming up soon). Most likely to rest Starc, Hazelwood, and Stoinis who've all had fitness issues lately, and play Ellis, Agar and Green. Might give Inglis the gloves over Wade too. "

Matt Roller is at the venue and says Starc and Hazlewood are going through a fitness session on the outfield while the rest of the squad prepares. Does that mean both are going to be rested?
