What they said:

"In terms of the batting, we're training every single day, we're working with the guys, we're doing video analysis, we're doing technical work. So, we're ticking all the boxes. The last box left to tick is for the guys to apply themselves in the middle. So, hopefully with one game left against New Zealand, the guys have experienced the pressure, they've experienced the World Cup now, three games already in. Hopefully in the fourth game, we can see the best of Uganda" - Craig Williams, Uganda batting coach.

Uganda have already made history to have qualified for their maiden T20 World Cup. The African side put up a spirited show with the ball against Afghanistan but poor shows with the bat led to their downfall against both the Afghans and West Indies. However, their win against Papua New Guinea has already given them memories of a lifetime. They will like to end their campaign with an impressive show against New Zealand. Can Uganda rise to the occasion today? Or will the Black Caps run away with the show? Stick around for the toss and team lineups...

New Zealand have won the toss and have opted to field

Williamson: We are gonna have a bowl, wanna have a look first with the bowl. We are going with the same side as the last match.

time for the toss. Masaba and Williamson are out there, alongside match referee David Boon. Williamson gives the coin a twirl. Heads is the call, and tails it is. New Zealand will bowl first. Says it is a fresh surface and they want to have a go with the ball first. Adds that they always try to pick the best team and have the same eleven as the last match. It is frustrating to not have the opportunity to qualify but they want to put up a good performance tonight.

Masaba says they are in a happy place, although they are not as happy with their batting performance in the last two games. Two changes for Uganda - Ronak Patel comes in, as does Fred Achelam. Concludes by saying they would have bowled first too.
