The game is likely to be called off, we're beginning to understand. USA will be through to the Super Eights when that confirmation comes through. Here's Sid Monga from Lauderhill: "Understandably players don't want to risk injuries. Also Ireland didn't have a practical chance. A no-result will see Pakistan knocked out."

So confusing.  The cricinfo edited its version.  It is yet to be confirmed.
