Rahul Dravid will have a tough job in getting Hardik Pandya and Rohit Sharma together and avoid an MI-like situation in the Indian dressing room.

There are two sides to preparing for an event as big as the World Cup in a team sport. One is the physical preparation and the other is the getting the team together. For Rahul Dravid, who, for one last time, is guiding a group of star players for the T20 World Cup, will have a tough task in hand dealing with the second kind of preparation, especially in the wake of what unfolded in IPL 2024. While all still remain as speculations with no official quotes, even from other players, Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya did not see eye to eye in the Mumbai Indians dressing room, leading to a rumoured break in the team as they finished 10th in the points table.

The 9th edition of ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will kick-start on June 2 (according to Indian Standard Time) when the co-hosts USA lock horns with Canada at the Grand Prairie Stadium, Dallas, Texas. 

With 20 teams set to clash for the first time in the T20 World Cup's 17 years history, associate nations could upset Test-playing nations amidst the changing dynamics of the game's shortest format.

In fact, such things shouldn't be effected in team's performance on international arena. 

They are representing the country and have to adjust according to the situation, not to yield to any emotions!

They are grown men who are paid in millions to play a stupid game. Dravid shouldn't has to have done something. If any of the MI picks sabotage the team, they should be dropped. But knowing what little we know of this post-Ganguly gen of players, they really back each other in the dressing rooms and on-field.

IND vs USA T20 WC match yesterday.. this penalty was given for 1st time ever in an international cricket match.

Chat between Paul Reiffel, the umpire, and captain Aaron Jones. Five penalty runs awarded to India. They ie USA have gone past 60 seconds to start a new over 3 times in the innings. As per the new rules, that's a penalty.
