Pankaj tripathi, vikrant massey,  rajkumar Rao... 

But more mainstream,  ayushmaan, shahid ( his hype is actually less than his  performance), tabu, Ranveer singh.... I've never gone to any movie of his and thought couldn't they have cast anyone else..

Irfan Khan. 

Tabu. 

Amitabh Bachchan in his second innings. 

Amir Khan once upon a time. 
Ajay Devgan. 
Shabana Azmi. 

Most from the earlier lot -  HR, SRK, PC, AB, Aamir, Irffan Khan, Tabu, Ajay devgan  and almost none from today.

The only one from today - Ranveer Singh

What’s the question? Who is overhyped? Underhyped?

Basically not overhyped or under hyped? 

Rajkumao Rao, Irfan khan, Tabu. 

I personally love Rajkumar Rao's acting and movies

I would have listed Shahid in this list but he is way underrated despite being an extremely talented and versatile actor

Bobby deol 2nd innings for sure is hype = performance in true sense 

Ashram, Class of 83, love hostel now animal 

only amitabh bachchan has an matchable second innings coming back after 10-15 years of hiatus/flop 

Vikrant massey too with his ott and now movie 

Raj kumar Rao and ayushmaan too for experimental cinema 

Tabu and Tapsee panu in actresses with experimental roles
