i don't think this was about personal style. people had to submit a portfolio which asked for pictures from works done in 2022 and 2023.

wahaj deserved a nom for murtasim. murtasim had killer style. his shawl had its own fanbase.

shehzad nawaz should have been nominated for daddy cool in mein. daddy cool had mad style.

sherry also deserved a nom for his styling in kuch ankahi as asfar. he looked so dapper in the suits.

fahd mustafa experiments with style on jeeto pakistan but he is nominated in film category anyways.

I don’t think people think of “characters” when they say a big term like style icon. It’s a general label I feel. You may be right about portfolios but if that was the case they need to add the drama/character underneath the nomination too 🤷‍♀️

For example I love Mahira’s personal style and she 100% needs to be nominated. But work wise? Was she a style icon in Razia? In TLOMJ? Why isn’t Humaima nominated too? So it seems a bit weird to me.
