They are victim-shaming someone who is considered a goddess by a lot of us. I don't even want to think how they behave with real victims who have none of the cultural, social, and political currency that a literal goddess has.

No one thinks of real women as divine beings to revere or fight for and even the same divine beings are being victim-shamed.

Just pukeworthy.

That’s why movies on Ramayana and Mahabharata should never be made. You are just opening it up for trolling , hurt sentiments and creating bad blood.

Like violence on women should never be joked about in any context. How hard is that to follow?

For people who are shaming Sai Pallavi so much, she suffers from Rosacea..So obviously she can't help it but thankfully she is someone who can flaunt her natural looks in this industry filled with people who judge you for your looks.

Looks are an an important part of casting. You can't have someone who looks like a vamp play the part of Sita ji. And you can't have plain Jane play the role either. So chill, and spare the sermon and the silly kidnapping analogy.

Chill. We are talking about characters playing certain roles. Hope no one here is silly enough to start thinking these actors are God's. That is what would be pukeworthy and should be reported for juvenile IQ.

But a worse looking old droopy eyed drunk looking 45 year old play Ram ji?

And you could’ve made your point without making a joke on a serious crime like kidnap? Like as if the kidnappers weigh in the looks before kidnapping?

Ravan was obsessed with her beauty and aura. But if having someone ethereal cast as Sita is problem maybe we change the story to Ravan not kidnapping her at all so that everyone is happy smiley36

So now we have the whole story. You are bummed out that someone pointed out about Pallavi. And have tried to couch that as taking offense about someone attacking Sita ji.

Anyway, feel free to run down RK if you think he's been miscast. I certainly won't go around giving bhashans about our Lord's maryada being harmed because of it. And I certainly wouldn't report it. Talk about contrived outrage.smiley36

Yeah and the so called joke continues in that disgusting vein. It will continue to happen until such a mindset persists. Unfortunately you just cannot get through such dense minds and make them see the obvious.

If I said Ram ji will now be a drunkard and a drug addict thanks to Ranbir playing it, then that’s definitely offensive and has to be reported. You not just rebuked the actress but made a joke on a serious violence that the women are subjected to every day world over. Like as if good looks are the main criteria for the kidnappers. Ravana did not kidnap Sita merely because of her looks btw. There was more back story to it.
