I'm so glad people are pointing out the hypocrisy that she preaches for women's safety and empowerment but supports her husband in Animal, the most regressive film from the last 3 decades.

That she endorses a makeup brand but her own husband tells her she can't wear lipstick lol. smiley36 They should make that part of the ad!

The “you are worth it” statement is supposed to be empowering. But what empowerment when you can't wear a certain makeup type because your hubby orders you to. The way they worded it was so problematic. "Wipe it off" is an order. Sweetheart, you don't need makeup because you are so naturally beautiful is a completely different statement. That might have even been seen as empowering. Aloo and Biru are experts at getting themselves in trouble with wrong choice of wording. I still can not swallow, "I flirt with my own daughter." And the same guy felt entitled to give Anushka english grammar lessons. Dude enhance your own low vocabulary first.

Thank you. That thread of Ranbir flirting with his daughter got closed but it shocked me that so many people defended him, saying we can't fault him for making a mistake with his English.

Is he some 5-year old child still learning a language? Does he have some verbal impairment or disability that made him fumble? He's a scion of one of the most prestigious families in India and had a first-class education. One that he lorded over Anushka when he made fun of her English. And we're supposed to believe he didn't know what he was saying? I'm tired of excuses for these people.

Hi. No. She. didn’t.

I just did a search of the best dressed lists from international media - not a single reputable source mentions her.

Sorry but PR-infused topics are not “facts” just because 2 Alia fans find 6-7 tweets that compliment her - that doesn’t make her the best dressed or popular

There are actual official LISTS that name and rank people and Alia is NOT ON THEM. And this is a FACT.
