Abhi: IMO Akash Deep should have been included in the 11 and Siraj could have been given a break. He bowled excellently in the previous match with the new ball and picked the top 3 English batsmen.

Sahil Soni: Congratulations to Bairstow and Ashwin for their 100th test. Ashwin has given India countless memories but the way he dominated the Aussies in 2020-21 BGT was a sight to behold. The amount of hard work he had done behind the scenes to ensure Smith and Marnus were always on their toes

Gripping start to this game. Both Bumrah and Siraj were brilliant. Rohit set a smart field to shut Duckett off with a leg-side field. Crawley played his shots but even he had to bide his time. Both the openers were troubled almost every over but India weren't lucky enough to get a wicket. Considering the quality of bowling, the help the bowlers got, 47/0 is a very good start for England. Extended 7-over spell for Bumrah and we should see spin from both ends shortly

The pitch has been interesting. Hasn't had the carry on occasions but there is enough seam movement. If it seams, it spins they usually say and Rohit will hope that holds true.

I don't know how to explain how England have survived this hour without losing a wicket. There have been 25 false responses in just 13 overs, which tells you how testing it is, but they are still none down. India have two seamers only, but they say when it seams, it spins too.

What is the point of having 25 false responses when none of them have resulted in a wicket?

England has done well so far.

Cheers..

Arjun: "Rajat Patidar is sat somewhere with a wry smile on his face seeing this false shots vs dismissal chart." Poor fella. Although that is the batter's lot

Some of the prices for flights to come to Dharamsala over the last few days are as high as the (mountains) range here" says Ravi Shastri on air. He also adds that there are only 15 flights per day to Dharamsala....
