KM: "I marvel at Kallis' fitness too. Genuine ARs as few as they are, always tend to be injury prone. But Kallis has amazing longevity and to my recollection never had phases of playing as a pure batter (he'd still make the XI). "

Lump of Sangaka: "Many batsmen come into the team and get a big score at a fast pace. Then people start saying things like "he should always play his natural game". That natural game over the start of their test career may not be suitable for EVERY such batter."

Mojo Jojo : "The last 2 innings have shown that first 12 overs are the best to bat! Hope these 2 maximise it! "

Jimm: "Mojo Jojo: Not sure Ollie Pope agrees with that. He made the pitch look ridiculously easy to bat on that what it actually was. "

hirteek: "This match is turning out to be an absolute mouth-watering delight, just like the ongoing Australia vs West Indies match. It's really good for Test cricket, showcasing why it is the best and toughest format. Looking forward to seeing how Jaiswal operates from here."

Prem: "You gotta admire Ollie Pope not just for his batting heroics, but also for his commitment towards the game. Even after being out in the field for around 100 overs he is right there in the field at FSL"

Andy C: "The game is here - with the momentum of those last 3 wickets in quick succession plus a fast start aided by that drop, if these two double the score in the same time then confidence will soar and India will cruise in spite of the fact that it will get tougher for them. England must strike quickly I feel"
