A cricket match before the wedding?  Yea take this with a pinch of salt.  There were also reports that Sid and kiara’s wedding festivities included dirt biking in the Rajasthan desert and an evening of desert festivities with Rajasthani food and music.  Once the everyone entered Suryagrah Palace they didn’t leave till it was all over smiley36

Because I am guessing it's the invitation card from the groom's side. I like how Pari is so influenced by Punjabi/Sikh culture now.. even her engagement announcement was written in Punjabi as well as English. They're super cute, can't wait for their wedding ceremony pictures 🥹

Wow. If that's the culture, then that's quite concerning.

Not really.. the bride's side usually has their own names first and then the groom's parents.

It's the blessings from the groom's extended family because it's the groom side invite

Parineeti ki side ka invite will be the other way round

Very standard stuff really

I actually had to Google these words because I wasn’t sure what they meant or what the rituals entailed in Punjabi Sikh weddings.  I guess they’re basically prayers before everything starts and some familial introductions?  Where’s Grumpy?  She’d know … She’s untaggable smiley5

I hope Parineeti shares all pictures from every event 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽

Usually a "paath" is held a week or couple of days before because we like to start auspicious occasions with prayers. It's asking god to bless the couple in this case. It's also done when you buy a house for example. I think Hindus do "hawan".. it's the same
