Mohammed Siraj | Player of the Match: This is my first Player of the Match award in Tests, very pleased. There wasn't much help for the pacers. I kept my plans simple and executed. When you pick wickets in conditions like this, you get loads of confidence. Rohit bhai asked me to believe in myself, not take any pressure and enjoy.

Kraigg Brathwaite | West Indies captain: We showed some fight in this game with the bat. Bowling-wise, we can be more disciplined. It was a good comeback from the batters. We lost five wickets yesterday, that wasn't good. Top-order batting 100+ overs is pleasing. We were positive, we had 98 overs on a pitch that was relatively good. It (chase) was on. Unfortunately with the weather, we didn't get a chance. Alick (Athanaze) looked good from the word go. In the Dominica Test, he belonged. They have good pitches in Australia. Continue working on your game, come and enjoy it. Kirk (McKenzie) looked good in his first match. These two guys have promise. They are the future. I have a lot of belief in these two. It'll be good to have some camps, some match practices. Using Kookaburra balls. Preparation is important. We need to bat for long periods against good teams. Some countries have club cricket going on.

Rohit Sharma | India captain: Every win is different. Playing in WI has its own challenge. Happy with the way things went. We gave it a good shot, unfortunately we couldn't get any play today. We actually went out with a positive intent yesterday. Rain had its final say. We were quite confident. You know how difficult it is batting last. We always wanted that kind of score where we wanted the opposition to go for it. There wasn't much on the surface. No play today, unfortunate for us. Siraj, I have been watching him closely. He's taken such a giant step. He has led this attack. I don't want anyone to lead the attack. I want everyone to lead when they are having the ball in their hand. You want the entire pace battery taking the responsibility. You need guys like Ishan (Kishan). We wanted quick runs, we promoted him, he wasn't afraid. He was the first one to put his hand up. In Test matches, you need guys who stabilise the innings like what Virat (Kohli) did, he played superbly. You need the mixture of everything. We have depth, we have got variety. We are in the right place. It's about getting the job done. I always believe in getting better as a team. I said after the World Test Championship final as well. We've played consistent cricket. That's what we are looking at. We want to focus on all three aspects of the game. We need to be a good fielding unit. Bowlers - how they respond under pressure. What sort of mindset batters go in with under challenging conditions. That's what I am looking forward to.

Rohit receives the cheque and the winner's trophy. Jadeja having a chat with his counterpart Warrican - they are definitely talking about left-arm spin. That's a good sight. India will be gutted not to win this Test but that's sport, that's cricket. Plenty of positives for them in this series though. Ashwin picking 12 wickets in the first Test after getting dropped for the WTC final. Yashasvi Jaiswal's memorable debut scoring 171 on his international debut. Rohit Sharma notching up three 50+ scores in as many outings. Kohli scoring a fifty and hundred in his two innings. Siraj's second five-for in Tests. Ishan Kishan's blazing maiden Test fifty.

West Indies 0 -- 1 India! The hosts got hammered in the Dominica Test in three days. They came up with a better performance here in Port of Spain, but it was India who were in the driver's seat for the majority of the Test. Weather had the last laugh at the Queen's Park Oval just like it did in Manchester yesterday. 4 WTC points for both teams from this Test and it's time to bring the curtains down. The action shifts to Barbados which will host the first two ODIs. The 3-match series is expected to grab more eyeballs as India will prepare for the 2023 World Cup. The Caribbean side, meanwhile, will be eyeing a fresh start and hopefully a good one after hitting a low in the 50-over format - not qualifying for the WC. Tune in on Thursday (27th July) for the opening ODI.

It's a shame that weather has played spoilsport in this centennial Test between West Indies and India. Inserted to bat, India posted 438 on the back of Virat Kohli's century and fifties from four other batters. In reply, the hosts got off to a slow and cautious start. Their captain - Brathwaite - notched up a half-century and the Windies batted out the entire third day. However, they collapsed on day four - losing their last five wickets inside the first hour as Siraj ran through the lower-order and claimed a fifer. India, with a 183-run lead, scored quickly and declared with almost four sessions left in the Test. Chasing 365, Brathwaite started off on a positive note but Ashwin removed the skipper for the second time in the match and backed it up with one more wicket in his following over. The equation was '289 runs vs 8 wickets' coming into the final day with 12 WTC points up for grabs but the rains failed to relent and ensured that there was no cricketing action on the final day. Presentations coming up shortly...
