Aniket: "Closed roofs please. With a good height. Everything will be fine."
Aniket Sharma: "How are people still not agreeing on roof! That is the only, only, only good way to stop it. Just need to make sure the roofs are at a good height. it is definitely not that difficult. I am a structural engineer, I know it is not that difficult."
Vipin: "Rain really plays an essential part in Test cricket. No roofs please."

11am Good news. The rain has stopped. This is the longest it has stopped since morning. The skies look clearer. There is still water on the covers, and the covers are still on. But hope floats.

Gautam: "Stadiums with retractable roofs may be risky for T20s and ODIs but can definitely be a great option for Test cricket. The number of times a team will hit a six in an innings will be fairly low. So not much risk of the ball hitting the roof. And the other two formats have DLS to salvage a result."
