Lately I've been in a glam metal mood. Although the genre were big in the 80s (at least in the USA, I believe), I also enjoy the more recent bands who are doing a revival like Steel Panther (USA) and The Darkness (UK). In my opinion is one of the most guitar-driven genres of rock/metal. The three first Bon Jovi albums were really good (to my ears). Even being born in the 90s, I feel kinda nostalgic listening to this kind of music. Not only Bon Jovi, also Twisted Sister, Night Ranger, Dokken, Europe, etc.

Yeah, I know most of the lyrics are corny as much as the visual, but I can't help it, I love it so much. It's interesting to think hard rock bands like Kiss, Whitesnake and Aerosmith, who were active before the 80s, decided to try the trend. Most releases were bangers, in my opinion.

Bon Jovi was indeed a vibe if you were an 80s child. Def Leppard and Aerosmith had such a distinctive sound - their songs are still bangers, like you say. Steven Tyler's vocals!
