How is it their fault if people are ummm...less than clean...or they have zero hygienic social practice...I honestly think that it is a cultural thing...because even in the most remote villages or even non-developed countries, with all kinds of socio-economic levels in the world, there is proof that some practices are not acceptable among people or on public shared grounds and no government or celeb. has to step in and tell them that spitting and other bodily fluids are best kept to only one area or in private.  I get that infrastructure may be government responsibility but society has a lot to do with this, because if you spit and your friends and relatives get on you and call you gross you eventually change your practices even if only to live in peace and the children learn is wrong and start a change within one generation.  It is wrong to place so much importance or so much power on entertainers as if it is their responsibility.

Next, we will have IAS slamming someone promoting bottled water because people get hydrated and piss on the streets. When Indians act disgusting and desecrate public property, it is not because of any product that was promoted - it is because the attitudes are wrong and people don't have a sense of hygiene and don't care about public spaces.

Exactly...Solid waste management is one of the biggest environmental issues that we are facing in India with people throwing packets of crackers/chocolates here and there, all these things are being advertised, lets blame everyone for advertising these products instead of stopping people from littering wherever they go

If someone is disgusting enough to spit in a public place, they are definitely not the one to be blamed for it, Municipal Corporation which is responsible for keeping the city clean, allows collection of waste product till it starts affecting the bridge, is absolutely NOT the one to be blamed Every expectation is from actors, its cute how everyone is okay with people spitting and Municipal corporation not doing their job properly, they just don't want to see an advertisement on their television channel πŸ˜†
