Freddie Krugers...reminds me of my love of that movie A nightmare on Elm street

Have you seen Suspicion?

I have diligently watched each one of Hitchcock's movies - even Frenzy (which was a dud!) and I still maintain that he's the master of suspense!

Suspicion- omg! Of course, I've watched it! I need to rewatch soon though.. it's been a while.

Freddie Kruger and Nightmare on Elm Street!

And that kid Damien in Omen gives me the creeps.

Chucky from Child's play

And the creepiest of them all - Norman Bates!!

Hitchcock's movies are amazing...all the chosen scripts of his have had this intriguing element to them

Though havent watch Frenzy. I should I guess

Yeah you should rewatch. I don't remember the last time I saw that movie but it was a great film

Nightmare On Elm Street was a great movie

Oh my Gosh! Damien. I love the child-artist {I guess Harvey Stephens was the name} The acting was phenomenal. Like how did he even manage to do it?

I havent seen Child's Play though

Norman Bates!

The ending was...

The whole movie gave me chills...his personification of his mother...the truth of him having a dissociative disorder

It was definitely creepy but the story was amazing...

Yes, Nutan is wonderful and so is this movie! It's quite an atypical rom-com for that era. Dev was always good at playing the sophisticated, urban male lead and I love how Nutan gives as good as she gets. It's just the ending that gets soapy and melodramatic, and the fight between the two older men can get a tad childish. But Dev and Nutan elevate it with their chemistry and camaraderie. One of my favs to rewatch.

Here's my favorite song from this movie. I love how Rafi sings this- when he sings 'Iss nasheeli raat mein" you can actually feel the 'nasha' in his voice!

And the last part when he finds her, the sheer exuberance in his voice is so wonderfully reflected in Dev and Nutan's onscreen acting! ❤️

I have this song in my head right now.

I love how it's picturized, and the back and forth between Rafi and Asha almost runs like a cute banter! And Dev and his future wife, Kalpana Kartik enact it sweetly. ❤️

This song is usually overshadowed by the more popular 'Aankhon mein kya ji' from the same movie, but I have always enjoyed 'Aaja Panchhi akela hai' since I first watched 'Nau do gyarah.'

Welcome! 🤗

OMG! This song! ❤️

I love everything about it! ❤️

The hypnotizing tune by SDB, the searing lyrics by the one and only Sahir (their partnership was legendary, what songs they made together until their fallout after Pyaasa! ❤️), Hemantda's mellifluous, mesmerizing voice, Dev's on-screen persona in what I think could be the ultimate song of seduction, the lover's call that is so intoxicating, it drives away all logical thought, and she's forced to heed to it, abandoning reason, good sense, only listening to the sound of her lover's voice and the call of his heart.

lehro ke hotho pe dheema dheema raag hai

bheegi hawaon mein thandi thandi aag hai

Iss haseen aag mein tu bhi jal ke dekh le

zindagi ke geet ki dhun badal ke dekh le

khulne de ab dhadkanon ki zubaan

sun ja dil ki dastaan

Goosebumps!
